- Pavol Kosnáč is a researcher at the Institute of Ethnology and Social Anthropology of the Slovak Academy of Sciences and director of the DEKK Institute in Bratislava. He is a PI of the World Value Survey in Slovakia and represents Slovakia in the World Value Survey Association and the World Association for Public Opinion Research. His primary research interest is an interdisciplinary approach to social cohesion. He is a registered (forensic) expert on religious extremism. He holds a PhD in Political Science from Masaryk University in the Czech Republic, and previously studied Religious Studies at the University of Oxford and Comenius University in Bratislava. He is a member of the British Royal Anthropological Institute (RAI) and the Board of Advisors of the INFORM Institute at King's Collage London. He is the editor of the books "Fiction, Invention and Hyperreality" (Routledge 2017) and "Cohesion in Slovakia" (DEKK Institute 2023).
