Intensive Working Meeting of the APVV Project Team Contemporary Images of Socialism in the Czech Republic and Slovakia – Family Memory
On 10–11 November 2025, the project team of the APVV initiative Contemporary Images of Socialism in the Czech Republic and Slovakia – Family Memory held an intensive working meeting. Under the leadership of the principal investigator, Monika Vrzgulová, the team members discussed both ongoing and future project activities.
The event also featured an invited lecture and discussion by memory studies and trauma scholar Erzsébet Fanni Tóth.
As part of the programme, a hybrid discussion took place with the international author collective of the planned publication Contested Post-Communist Memories, edited by Monika Vrzgulová, Barbara Törnquist-Plewa, and Soňa G. Lutherová.
