Meeting of the finalists of the 17th Roma Spirit with ambassadors at the Austrian Cultural Institute
The symbolic conclusion of the 17th Roma Spirit was a joint meeting with ambassadors from several countries accredited to the Slovak Republic, as well as the presentation of the 21 finalists at the Austrian Cultural Forum on 12 February 2026.
Our Institute, represented by Scientific Secretary J. Majo, was among the three finalists in the Society and Employer category. A wide range of diplomats, as well as representatives of the non-profit sector, learned about our work and several publications the Institute has produced on this topic in recent years.
The programme also included an invitation to a luncheon with the Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Slovakia, Bilal Zahid, at his residence. We are already looking forward to the forthcoming 18th edition of the Roma Spirit competition, now entering its ‘adult’ stage.
