IESA SAS Partners with the CEU Summer University on Romani Music
Our colleague Assoc. Prof. Jana Ambrózová, PhD. will participate this year as a lecturer and co-director of a course at the prestigious CEU Summer University in Budapest. Our colleague Assoc. Prof. Peter Nuska, PhD. will also take part as a lecturer.
IESA SAS is a proud partner of the Summer University course “Romani Music between Heritage and Politics” (8th edition of the Music as Heritage series), taking place June 29 – July 3, 2026, focusing on the artistic, social, and political dimensions of Romani culture and musical heritage.
The course is open to doctoral students, early-career researchers, and professionals from the fields of ethnology, ethnomusicology, social anthropology, and related social science and humanities disciplines. Scholarships and funding opportunities are available.
