Presentation of the Results of the Evaluation of the Implementation of the Strategy for Equality, Inclusion and Participation of Roma by 2030
On Wednesday, 1 July 2026, a working meeting of the Thematic Working Group for Monitoring and Evaluation of the Strategy for Equality, Inclusion and Participation of Roma by 2030, established by the Government Plenipotentiary for Roma Communities of the Slovak Republic, was held at UZ Bôrik.
During the meeting, which also featured the presentation of new results from the 2025 Sociographic Mapping of Roma Communities (formerly known as the Atlas of Roma Communities), Juraj Majo, Scientific Secretary of the Institute of Ethnology and Social Anthropology of the Slovak Academy of Sciences (IESA SAS), presented the key findings of the external evaluation of the implementation of the Strategy’s Action Plans for the period 2022–2024.
Researchers from our institute’s research cluster Ethnic and Minority Studies – Romani Studies also participated in the evaluation: Andrej Belák, Tomáš Hrustič and Daniel Škobla, under the editorial leadership of Tatiana Zachar Podolinská and Andrej Belák. The evaluation was published by our institute in 2026 under the title Politiky bez drene (Marrowless policy).
