Monika Vrzgulová’s monograph receives an SAS award
The publication Oral History and the Holocaust in Slovakia. Selective and Contradictory Memories by our Director, Monika Vrzgulová, published by Palgrave Macmillan, has been recognised by the Slovak Academy of Sciences as an outstanding scholarly monograph.
The Slovak Academy of Sciences honoured outstanding publications issued in 2025. A formal ceremony dedicated to their authors was held on Wednesday, 30 September 2026. The awards were presented by the President of the Slovak Academy of Sciences, Martin Venhart, in recognition of sustained, systematic, and internationally competitive scholarly achievement.
