Martin Lukáč is a geographer, ethnologist and historian - a graduate of the Comenius University in Bratislava and Charles University in Prague. He completed a study stay in Ljubljana and he is in regular contact with colleagues from foreign universities (Université Clermont Auvergne). In his professional-scientific focus, he deals with broader issues between geography and ethnology, while paying attention to local and regional reflections of the monitored issues and phenomena. He draws on his previous work experience in self-government, state government and the non-governmental sector in his scientific and research activities.
