This applied expert project aims to map the accessibility of public services in Roma communities in Slovakia. In addition to finalizing a desk report, the project team will organize three focus groups (with a minimum of 8 Roma participants per group) and conduct 30 qualitative interviews with local stakeholders and critical service providers in selected locations. The research also includes a qualitative representative mapping module conducted in more than 30% of households in three research-chosen locations in the Prešov region.
The research goal is to map the effectiveness of various local service provision systems and identify potential objective and subjective barriers to their full functionality for all citizens, regardless of ethnic or social status.
The research follows a participatory design, involving approximately 35 participants from the research locations in the design and implementation of the study.
