The project addresses the pressing need for comprehensive tools that accurately capture the complex cultural and psychological trends of a nation. As globalized societies face unprecedented challenges, from hybrid threats to policy shifts, having a nuanced understanding of a population´s beliefs and values becomes paramount. The project introduces a pioneering approach by amalgamating cutting-edge AI technology with in-depth psychological and sociocultural studies – including the 8th Wave of World Values Survey. A noteworthy emphasis of this initiative is its commitment to represent the often underserved Roma community, reinforcing a commitment to holistic inclusiveness. Unlike traditional survey tools or data analytics platforms, this project aims to create a Digital Twin of Slovakia, offering a dynamic, real-time simulation of its socio-cultural landscape.
The overall objective of this project is to create a digital tool for key stakeholders (policy makers at the local and EU levels) for understanding risks related to Slovak policymaking. These risks include issues of social cohesion, anti-system beliefs, hybrid threat risks, and are extendable to address further issues of investment, immigration, refugee relocation, and other key issues of humanitarian aid. The objective is made possible by focusing on the psychological, social, and cultural aspects of a nation instead of focusing on the financial and economic systems exclusively, as most models utilized by policymakers currently do. However, such models are under-defined in terms of focusing on human aspects of policy, such as psychology, values, and motivation, which are direct barriers to policy acceptance and forming policies that take into account both progress and the current state of a population in order to achieve key strategic goals.
