Our colleagues Elena Marushiakova and Veselin Popov have just published a book at Brill | Schöningh titled Stalin vs Gypsies: Roma and Political Repressions in the USSR.
In the book, the authors describe the political repressions against the Roma, which they understand as part of the mass terror and brutality against all Soviet citizens, integrating the history of the Roma into the general history of the USSR. The publication is available in Open Access.
