International Online Conference ‘Quest: How to make digital work for, not against learning’

The Institute of Ethnology and Social Anthropology of the Slovak Academy of Sciences is pleased to invite you on June 6, 2024, to the international online conference ‘Quest: How to make digital work for, not against learning’ which aims to gather teachers, educators, methodologists, experts, innovators, and other stakeholders to explore and discuss the pivotal role of digital tools, educational applications and gamification in shaping the learning experiences of students of various ages. The conference is associated with a public presentation of a new educational mobile application called Heritage Quest AR. The conference is held under the auspices of the SK UNESCO Commission and the State Secretary of the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic, Slavomír Partila (TBC).
- The conference aims to provide educators, methodologists, experts, innovators, and other individuals passionate about education with an opportunity to discuss the role of digital tools, educational applications, and gamification in shaping the knowledge and experiences of students of various ages.
- The online conference on digital tools in education, gamification, and educational applications aimed at various levels and spheres of education is intended for educators, methodologists, experts, innovators, and others enthusiastic about education.
Abstracts should not exceed 500 words and must be in English, Hungarian, Italian, or Slovak. They must be uploaded via the conference registration form. The organizing committee will select the contributions to be presented during the conference. The abstracts will be published in the Book of Abstracts in their original language and in English. The deadline for submitting abstracts is May 3, 2024.
