Edita Rigová is proceeding her PhD. studies at the Institute of Ethnology and Social Anthropology of the Slovak Academy of Sciences. She participated in the Roma Access Programs at the Central European University and later successfully completed her MPA studies at the University in Lausanne in the field of Public Administration. She took part in internships at the EU Agency for Fundamental Rights based in Vienna and in the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights in Warsaw. Under the auspices of the Lantos Foundation and Humanity in Action, she worked as a fellow – Policy Advisor in the United States House of Representatives. Currently, she has been engaged in research focused on the inclusive education of Roma, while her dissertation project examines the education of young Roma in the remote vocational schools.
