Miroslava Hlinčíková works as a researcher at the Institute of Ethnology and Social Anthropology of the Slovak Academy of Sciences, where she received her PhD degree in 2013. She has been a member of various research teams focusing on various minority issues: disadvantaged groups in society (migrants, minorities, and women), social exclusion, equal opportunities, civic participation, integration, human rights, and diversity in urban environments. As an analyst, she has collaborated with various NGOs: the Institute for Public Affairs; Citizen, Democracy and Responsibility; and Centre for the Research of Ethnicity and Culture. She is the author and co-author of several monographs and studies.
