Petar Tumbov holds a degree in Political Science from the Bratislava International School of Liberal Arts (BISLA), where his bachelor’s thesis explored philosophical frameworks of belief and processes of individual secularisation. During his master’s studies in Social Anthropology at Comenius University Bratislava, he focused on the anthropology of friendship through an autoethnographic approach. His current research centres primarily on religious transformation, identity, and liminal belief. His broader interests include key methodological and ethical debates within anthropology, as well as the intersections between anthropology and philosophy and the search for innovative ways of bringing the two disciplines into dialogue.
