The project represents a unique, in Slovakia yet absent systematic basic research using the oral history method.The aim is to obtain current representations/images of socialism, as communicated today by the generation of personal witnesses and how the current attitudes and values of the respondents are influenced by the fact that they lived in socialism. It is not historical research, but research purely from the perspective of socia sciences with a focus on the contemporary society of Slovakia.
