Information matters: towards positive pathways of migrants’ integration

The conference “Information matters: positive pathways towards migrant integration” that took place at a beautiful Palffy Palace in old Bratislava has attracted many scholars and practicioners of integration for a day of lively and stimulating discussion on practices and strategies of sucessful as well as less sucessful incorporation of migrants.
The conference was kicked off by two excellent keynote speeches: Mr. Anton Savary presented the efforts by Euroepan Commission in the field of migrant integration, while Prof. Em. Penninx gave us a stimulating outline of the heuristic model to study the process of integration that provided a good starting point for subsequent presentations and discussions.
